Tig/Mig Welder
Job Purpose
To join a team of highly skilled welders to increase our ability to produce vehicle chassis to meet our increasing customer volumes.
Relationships
Reports to Supervisor
Responsible for MOKE Weld/Fabrication Assembly
Close Liaison with Supervisor, Quality Engineer, Engineering Team
Key Areas of Job
Responsibility and duties including;
Key Post Holder Requirements
- Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed and take responsibility for themselves
- Experienced and competent in steel Mig and Tig welding
- Ability to prepare materials before welding
- Experience in linishing
- Good understanding of manufacturing products using drawings
- Can work and produce parts to a High Quality Standard
- Able to follow standard operating processes
- Good team ethic
- Can work to own initiative
- Can do attitude
Essential
Desirable
- Must be experienced and competent in steel fabrication
- 1 years experience of welded component manufacture
- Knowledge of production machinery grinders, presses, lifting equipment
- Successfully completed a welding apprenticeship or equivalent in welding
Salary - £15 per hour
Hours - 06:00 - 16.15 Monday - Thursday
Holiday - 20 days + Bank holidays
